H&M will launch their newest Conscious Exclusive collection on April 10th, just in time for spring. This elegant collection will be available in 150 H&M stores worldwide and online. As many of you already know, the Conscious Exclusive range is part of the larger Conscious collection, and offers limited edition pieces that are made with high quality sustainable fabrics. For the latest Conscious Exclusive collection, H&M has chosen leather from cows bred for organic meat production in Swedish farms, and silk that is cultivated from organic mulberry trees. The garments and accessories in this latest collection were made in collaboration with the sustainable fashion and design think-tank EVER Manifesto. The new Conscious Exclusive collection has basic staple pieces like jackets, skirts, shorts and trousers, as well as several floor length gowns. Everything comes in a neutral palette of white, cream, gold, beige, nude, dusty rose, and navy. Highlights of the collection include a white organic cotton blazer with hemp appliqués on the sleeves and shoulders, and a show-stopping white military blazer with overall gold embroidery in an organic cotton blend. We also love the white tencel jumpsuit with an open waist, the white lace dress with an overlay collar neckline, and the pleated a-line skirt made from nude colored organic cow leather. The Conscious Exclusive accessories collection is also impressive, with chic bags, shoes, belts, and jewelry in styles and colors that compliment the garments. The basic H&M Conscious collection will launch at the same time as the Conscious Exclusive collection, but will be available in all H&M stores. The new Conscious collection is a bit bolder, mixing bright shades of orange and red with black, warm gold, beige, and African prints. Model Amber Valletta was recently named the new face of H&M’s Conscious collections, replacing French singer and actress Vanessa Paradis. A selection of pieces from the Conscious Exclusive collection will be sold on YOOX as part of Valetta’s Master and Muse selection. Amber was also one of the attendees of H&M’s launch party last week, along with Kate Mara, Emily Rossum and Camilla Belle.
