HomeSTYLEEMERGINGSamuji SS15 Lookbook Style Quotidien November 5, 2014 Finnish clothing and accessories brand Samuji has released their SS15 lookbook, photographed by Niko Mitrunen who also shot the brand’s AW14 lookbook. Samuji is one of SQ‘s favorite labels, because they effortlessly combine the clean lines of Scandinavian minimalism with contemporary design and functionality. The brand understands how women shop, and responds by offering two very different collections. The Samuji Classic line has timeless designs in traditional silhouettes and neutral colors that are perfect for the office or as staple wardrobe pieces. The Samuji Seasonal line is more bold with on-trend designs in seasonal colors and striking prints. The SS15 lookbook introduces the Samuji Seasonal collection, which features a refreshingly feminine selection of dresses and skirts. The color palette compliments the girly silhouettes with delicate tones of pink, blue and green mixed with muted pastels and gleaming metallics. Many of the pieces come in stunning prints that range from tropical to geometric, presented in rich color combinations. We are fans the Tuliki Dress, which comes in a bright turquoise and orange print and has a daring cutout design. Another favorite is the knee-length Iro Coat which looks like it has been poured from liquid silver. The Vinnie Dress has an elegant cut and comes in a gorgeous clay colored print, while both the Flare Blazer and Civetta Trousers have an eye-catching geometric print that can be mixed and matched. The SS15 Samuji Classic line has flattering skirts and dresses in many of the same colors as the Samuji Seasonal collection, but with added pieces in gray, creme, beige, navy and black. The two collections are enhanced with Asian-inspired cone hats and bell-shaped hats that are made of woven straw, and double-strap flat sandals that come in beige or black leather. Samuji was launched in 2011 in Helsinki, Finland, where the brand has two flagship stores. Samuji garments and accessories are produced in Europe by carefully selected manufacturers, using quality materials that are sourced from Europe and Japan. You can purchase Samuji from the label’s online boutique, or from various retailers in the US, Canada, Europe, Russia, Japan and Scandinavia.Click here to visit the Samuji website.
